Sydney Roberts is a native of Dallas, TX finishing her third year of training at the Department of Drama's New Studio on Broadway. Sydney recently performed as ‘Sarah’ in NSB’s production of Ragtime, and this will be her second production at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Sydney is incredibly grateful for her mother and sister for encouraging her to work hard and always be true to herself. She gives all the glory to God and the people He has surrounded her with.

I have always loved dancing and singing. From a very young age, I would spend hours making up dances and forcing my mom and sister to be my audience. By the age of 12 I was performing with a girls singing group at festivals and amusement parks.

I went to school at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. That is where I fell in love with musical theatre and the stage. As a triple threat, I throw myself into my characters and make sure that I'm having fun when I'm up there! I love to bring the audience along for the journey.

 My first love will always be singing. I hope to bring joy, peace and understanding to the world through my work as an artist.
